noteser. Browser-based Obsidian-style notes. Built through vibe coding in under 40 hours, with 1,400+ passing tests.

  • GitHub as the storage layer. Every note is a plain .md file in a GitHub repo I own. Real three-way merge per file. True conflicts open as merge tabs with an inline diff (accept yours, theirs, or both, per hunk). No proprietary database.
  • Tasks inside notes. Tasks live in notes as `- [ ] ...` lines, Obsidian Tasks plugin compatible. Live query blocks aggregate tasks across the whole vault. Filter, group, and toggle a checkbox writes back to the underlying note.
